Mixed Fruit Pie
|Flour||1 Cup (16 tbs)|
|Sodium bicarbonate||1 Pinch|
|Peels||1 Tablespoon (Green And Red)|
|Glazed cherries||2 Tablespoon|
|Apple||1 , cut into cubes|
|Litchi||2 Tablespoon, chopped|
|Sugar||1⁄4 Cup (4 tbs)|
Sieve flour, salt and soda bicarb together in a large mixing bowl.
Put butter into flour and mix with fingers till it resembles bread crumbs.
Knead the flour to a stiff dough with milk.
Roll out the dough into 1/2 cm thick round pastry a little bigger than the pie dish.
Put the pastry into pie dish covering the sides also.
Mix the fruits with sugar and put them in the pastry.
Sprinkle some more sugar.
Bake in the oven at 220°C for 15-20 minutes.
Reduce the heat to 180°C and bake for another 12-50 minutes.
Remove from the dish.
Decorate with some more cherries and litchis and serve.
