Coconut Syrup Pie
|Sugar||1⁄2 Cup (8 tbs)|
|Dark corn syrup||1 Cup (16 tbs)|
|All purpose flour||1 Tablespoon|
|Vanilla extract||1 Teaspoon|
|Butter||1 Tablespoon, melted|
|Flaked coconut||2 Cup (32 tbs)|
|Pastry||1 (For 1-Crust 9-Inch Pie, Unbaked)|
Beat first 7 ingredients together until well blended.
Stir in coconut.
Pour into pie pan lined with pastry rolled 1/8 inch thick.
Bake in preheated hot oven (400°F.) for 15 minutes.
Reduce heat to slow (300°F.) and bake for 30 to 35 minutes longer, or until set.
