|Stewing steak||1 1⁄2 Pound, cut into pieces|
|Onions||2 Large, diced|
|Mixed vegetables||1 Can (10 oz)|
|Beef stock||1 Pint|
|Bread slice||6 , decrusted and buttered|
|Made mustard||2 Teaspoon|
|Grated cheese||4 Ounce|
Sprinkle meat with salt and pepper, toss in flour.
Fry meat until browned in oil.
Remove from pan.
Fry onion until transparent.
Add meat and enough stock to cover.
Bring to boil, cover pan and simmer for 1 hour.
Transfer ingredients to casserole dish, add vegetables and their juice, mix well.
Spread buttered side of bread with mustard, sprinkle with cheese and press into butter.
Cut each slice of bread into 4 and arrange overlapping over meat.
Bake for 30 min.
