Fresh Sour Cherry Pie

Ingredients
  Granulated sugar 1 1⁄2 Cup (24 tbs)
  All purpose flour 1⁄2 Cup (8 tbs)
  Salt 1⁄2 Teaspoon
  Pitted fresh sour cherries 5 Cup (80 tbs)
  9 inch double crust pie pastry 1
  Butter/Margarine 1 Tablespoon
Directions

Preheat oven to 425°F.
In large bowl, combine sugar, flour and salt.
Add cherries and toss lightly.
Turn into pastry-lined 9-inch pie plate.
Dot with butter.
Adjust top crust; cut steam vents.
Bake in 425°F.
oven 50 to 60 minutes or until pie crust is golden.
Cool on rack.
Nice served warm with vanilla ice cream.
