Boiled Pot Pie
|Stewing chicken||3 Pound (1 whole)|
|Potatoes||4 , quartered|
|Onion||1 , diced|
|Minced parsley||1 Tablespoon|
|Dough squares||1 Cup (16 tbs) (adjust quantity as needed)|
Cover chicken with the water, add the salt, and stew until almost tender.
Add potatoes, onion, parsley, and pepper to taste.
Drop Dough Squares into boiling broth, one by one, covering whole top of stew.
When half of squares have been added, stir before adding the rest.
Cover tightly and continue boiling for 20 minutes, or until squares have a "spongy" texture when cut with a fork.
