Hurry Up Lemon Pie
|Baked 8" pie shell||1|
|Sweetened condensed milk||15 Ounce|
|Grated lemon peel||1 Teaspoon|
|Lemon juice||1⁄2 Cup (8 tbs)|
|Vanilla extract||1⁄4 Teaspoon|
|Granulated sugar||4 Tablespoon|
Preheat oven to 350°F.
Blend condensed milk with lemon peel, juice and egg yolks until thickened.
Pour into shell.
In small bowl, with electric mixer, beat egg whites with salt and vanilla until frothy.
Add sugar a little at a time, beating well.
Continue to beat until mixture forms peaks; swirl over filling to touch pie shell all around.
Bake 12 to 15 minutes.
