Golden Meat Pie
|Soft breadcrumbs||1 Cup (16 tbs)|
|Milk||125 Milliliter (1/2 Cup)|
|Ground beef||1 Pound (500 Grams)|
|Egg||1 , beaten|
|Grated onion||2 Tablespoon|
|Worcestershire sauce||1 Tablespoon|
|Tomato sauce/Plum sauce||3 Tablespoon|
|Chopped onion||1⁄2 Cup (8 tbs)|
|Butter||40 Gram (2 Tablespoon)|
|Frozen corn||10 Ounce (1 Package)|
|Canned tomatoes||1 Cup (16 tbs), strained|
|Parmesan cheese||1 Tablespoon|
|Crispy cooked bacon||1⁄2 Cup (8 tbs), chopped|
1. Heat oven to 350°F (180°C).
2. Soften breadcrumbs in milk, add meat, egg, onion, season with salt and pepper and mix well. Line the bottom and sides of a pie dish with the mixture and bake in the oven for 45 minutes.
3. Cook 1/4 cup of chopped onions in butter until brown and add the rest of the ingredients and simmer for 15 minutes. Fill the meat crust with this mixture and return to the oven to heat through.
4. Garnish with parsley.
