Mock Mince Pie

|Ground cinnamon||1⁄2 Teaspoon|
|Ground cloves||1⁄4 Teaspoon|
|Ground ginger||1⁄4 Teaspoon|
|Chopped peeled apples||1 1⁄2 Cup (24 tbs)|
|Raisins||1 Cup (16 tbs)|
|Canned jellied cranberry sauce||1⁄2 Cup (8 tbs), broken up|
|Coarsely chopped walnuts||1⁄3 Cup (5.33 tbs)|
|Grated orange peel||1 Teaspoon|
|Grated lemon peel||1⁄2 Teaspoon|
|Lemon juice||1⁄4 Cup (4 tbs)|
|Pastry for 2 crust 9 inch pie||1|
In bowl mix together sugar, salt, cinnamon, cloves, and ginger.
Add fruit, nuts, orange and lemon peel, and lemon juice; mix well.
Line 9-inch pie plate with pastry; fill with apple mixture.
Dot with butter.
Adjust top crust over filling; seal.
Cut slits in top.
Bake at 400° for 30 to 35 minutes or till browned.
Top each serving with shredded or thinly sliced Cheddar or sharp process American cheese, if desired.
