Strawberry Pie

Ingredients
  Baked 9 inch pastry shell 1
  Fresh strawberries 1 1⁄2 Quart
  Cornstarch 3 Tablespoon
  Sugar 1 Cup (16 tbs)
  Water 1 Cup (16 tbs)
  Butter/Margarine 1 Teaspoon
Directions

Clean and hull berries.
Measure 2/3 cup of berries and mash in 1-quart measure.
Add water and 3/4 to 1 cup sugar, depending on sweetness of berries.
MICRO WAVE 5 to 6 MINUTES on HIGH, or until mixture is boiling.
Soften cornstarch in small amount of water and add to mixture.
MICROWAVE 2 to 3 MINUTES on HIGH, or until mixture thickens, stirring once.
Stir in butter.
Cool.
Fill baked pie shell with remaining strawberries.
Pour cooled glaze over top.
Garnish with whipped cream.
