Easy And Quick Strawberry Pie
|Fresh strawberries||1 Quart, washed and hulled|
|Baked 9 inch pie shell||1|
|Eggs||3 , separated|
|Sugar||1⁄2 Cup (8 tbs)|
|Flour||1⁄2 Cup (8 tbs)|
Drain the strawberries well and arrange them in the baked pie shell.
Beat the egg yolks until light and gradually beat in the sugar.
Add the flour and beat until smooth.
Beat the egg whites until stiff but not dry and fold into the yolk mixture.
Pour over the berries and bake 8 minutes at 375°, and then at 325° until golden brown.
Serve slightly warm with sweetened whipped cream.
