Rhubarb Pie With Pastry

Ingredients
  Flaky pastry 1
  Flour 6 Tablespoon
  Granulated sugar 1 1⁄2 Cup (24 tbs)
  Rhubarb 4 Cup (64 tbs), unpeeled, cut in 1 inch pieces
  Butter/Margarine 2 Tablespoon
Directions

Line a 9" pie plate with pastry as in Making a Two-Crust Pie.
Brush with some melted butter or margarine.
Chill.
Combine 2 tablesp of the flour and 2 tablesp of the sugar, and sprinkle over the chilled pastry.
Heap rhubarb over this mixture.
Mix together the remaining flour and sugar, and sprinkle over the rhubarb.
Dot with the butter.
Adjust top crust as in Making a Two-Crust Pie, Sprinkle top lightly with sugar, if desired.
Bake in a hot oven of 450 F for 15 min., and then in a moderate oven of 350 F for 45 min.
