Orange Pecan Pie

Ingredients
  Piecrust mix 6 Ounce (For One 9 Inch Shell)
  Orange 1 Medium
  Eggs 3
  Dark corn syrup 1 Cup (16 tbs)
  Sugar 2⁄3 Cup (10.67 tbs)
  Butter/Margarine 1⁄4 Cup (4 tbs), melted
  Salt 1 Dash
  Whole pecans 1 Cup (16 tbs)
Directions

Prepare pie shell according to package directions.
Do not bake.
Peel orange, reserving 1-inch square.
Quarter orange; remove seeds.
Put orange pieces, orange peel, eggs, corn syrup, sugar, butter, and salt in blender container.
Blend till mixture is smooth and light colored and the orange peel is finely chopped.
Sprinkle pecans evenly in bottom of pie shell; pour blender mixture over pecans.
Bake at 350° till knife inserted off-center comes out clean, about 60 minutes.
Cool.
