Speckled Holiday Pie
|Butter||1⁄4 Cup (4 tbs)|
|Corn syrup||1⁄4 Cup (4 tbs)|
|Semi sweet chocolate chips||1⁄2 Cup (8 tbs)|
|Special k cereal||2 Cup (32 tbs)|
|Cream cheese||12 Ounce, softened (1 1/2 Package, 8 Ounce Size)|
|Sugar||3⁄4 Cup (12 tbs)|
|Quartered maraschino cherries||1⁄2 Cup (8 tbs)|
|Chopped almonds||1⁄2 Cup (8 tbs)|
|Heavy cream||4 1⁄2 Cup (72 tbs), whipped|
|Cherry halves||1 Tablespoon (For Garnish)|
Combine butter, corn syrup and chocolate chips in a casserole.
Microwave 1 to 2 minutes; stir smooth.
Add cereal,stirring to coat.
Press into a greased 9-inch pie plate.
Beat cream cheese and sugar until smooth.
Add brandy; fold in remaining ingredients.
Spread onto crust.
Garnish with cherry halves.
Freeze 4 hours.
Let stand at room temperature 15 minutes before cutting.
