New Method Custard Pie
|Milk||3 Cup (48 tbs)|
|Sugar||3⁄4 Cup (12 tbs)|
Beat eggs slightly, add sugar, milk, vanilla and salt.
Place over low heat, stirring constantly.
When steam shows, remove from heat and pour into a 9-inch unbaked pie shell.
Sprinkle with nutmeg.
Bake at 450° for 10 minutes, then at 350° for 15 minutes or until firm. (This custard pie never gets watery or soaks crust.)
