|Shortening||3⁄4 Cup (12 tbs)|
|Flour||2 1⁄4 Cup (36 tbs), sifted|
|Cold water||5 Tablespoon|
Mix salt and flour.
Cut in shortening with a pastry blender.
Sprinkle over cold water, mixing with a fork until dough holds together.
Divide into 2 balls.
Roll out each on a well-floured board.
Place in a 9-inch pie plate.
Prick crust with tines of fork.
Microwave on medium 7 to 9 minutes, turning dish one-quarter turn every 3 minutes.
