Frozen Pear Pie Filling
|Ascorbic acid||3 Teaspoon|
|Sugar||1 1⁄2 Cup (24 tbs)|
|Instant tapioca||10 Tablespoon|
|Sliced pears||4 Quart|
|Lemon juice||1⁄3 Cup (5.33 tbs)|
Combine the ascorbic acid, sugar, salt and tapioca and sprinkle over each pear after being peeled.
Add the lemon juice and mix well.
Line four 8-inch pie pans with aluminum foil, freezer paper or film, extending lining 5 inches beyond rims of pans.
Spoon 4 cups filling into each pan and freeze.
Remove from freezer and wrap lining tightly over filling.
Seal and remove from pie pans.
Wrap with freezer paper and store in the freezer.
