Pizza Supper Pie
|Pastry mix stick||1 (Use Packaged Type)|
|Bulk pork sausage||1⁄2 Pound|
|Chopped onion||3⁄4 Cup (12 tbs)|
|Milk||1⁄2 Cup (8 tbs)|
|Shredded sharp process cheese||1 Cup (16 tbs)|
|Canned pizza sauce||2⁄3 Cup (10.67 tbs)|
Prepare one 9-inch pastry shell from pastry mix according to package directions.
Bake in very hot oven (450°) only 7 minutes or just till lightly browned ; remove from oven.
Reduce oven temperature to 325°.
Slowly brown sausage and onion, breaking up sausage with fork; drain.
Beat together eggs and milk; stir in sausage and cheese.
Pour into pastry shell.
Bake in slow oven (325°) 20 minutes or till knife inserted in center comes out clean.
Spread top with pizza sauce.
Bake 5 minutes longer, trimming, if desired.
