Apple Streusel Mince Pie
|Thinly sliced pared apples||3 Cup (48 tbs) (3 Medium Peeled Ones)|
|All purpose flour/Self rising / unbleached flour||3 Tablespoon|
|Margarine/Butter||2 Tablespoon, melted|
|9 inch pie crust||1|
|Mincemeat||27 Ounce (1 Jar, Ready To Use)|
|All purpose flour/Self rising / unbleached flour||1⁄2 Cup (8 tbs)|
|Packed light brown sugar||1⁄4 Cup (4 tbs)|
|Ground cinnamon||1 Teaspoon|
|Firm margarine/Butter||1⁄3 Cup (5.33 tbs)|
|Chopped nuts||1⁄4 Cup (4 tbs)|
Heat oven to 425°.
Mix apple slices, 3 tablespoons flour and 2 tablespoons margarine; turn into pie crust.
Spoon mincemeat over apple mixture.
Mix 1/2 cup flour, the brown sugar and cinnamon in medium bowl.
Cut in 1/3 cup margarine until crumbly; stir in nuts.
Sprinkle over mincemeat.
Bake 10 minutes.
Reduce oven temperature to 375°.
Bake 25 to 30 minutes longer or until crust is golden brown.
Cool before cutting.
