Homemade Pecan Pie

Pecan pie is a classic dessert for the Holidays, Pecan pie, is actually very simple to make. You can use store bought pie shells or make your own. Enjoy!
Ingredients
  Eggs 5 Large
  Light brown sugar 1 1⁄4 Cup (20 tbs)
  Light brown syrup 1⁄3 Cup (5.33 tbs)
  Dark brown syrup 1⁄3 Cup (5.33 tbs)
  Vanilla 1 Teaspoon
  Melted butter 1⁄2 Cup (8 tbs)
  Rum 1 Tablespoon
  Chopped pecans 1 Cup (16 tbs)
  9 inch pie shell 1
  Whole pecans 2 Tablespoon (For Garnish)
Directions

Line a 9 inch pie plate with dough, preheat oven to 350 degrees.
Place the first seven ingredients in a pot. Whisk for few minutes until sugar is melted and everything is incorporated.
Remove from heat and add chopped walnuts.
Mix well.
Fill your pie shell with pecan mixture.
Garnish with whole pecans.
Place pie in oven and bake for 45 minutes until filling is set.
Take care if pie edges get too brown carefully cover them in foil.
Serve.
