Betty's Fabulous Pecan Pie--40-Year-Old

In this video, Betty makes her one-and-only favorite 40-year-old pecan pie recipe. I think you're going to love this one!

Ingredients

Unbaked pie crust 9 Inch
Unbaked 9 inch pie crust 1
Dark corn syrup 1 Cup (16 tbs)
Sugar 3/4 Cup (12 tbs) ((Can Use 1 Cup))
Flour 2 Tablespoon
Salt 1 Teaspoon
Egg 2
Eggs 2
Evaporated milk 1/2 Cup (8 tbs)
Pecan halves 1 Cup (16 tbs)
Vanilla extract 1 Teaspoon
Vanilla extract 1 Teaspoon

Directions

GETTING READY

1. Pre-heat the oven to 375F.

MAKING

2. In a mixing bowl, place sugar, corn syrup, flour, and salt, mix well. Add one egg at a time and beat. Add milk, pecan halves, vanilla extract, and mix well.

3. Transfer the mixture into the pie crust. Cover the edges of the crust with aluminum foil.

4. Bake at 375F for 40 minutes or till an inserted knife comes out clean.

SERVING

5. Serve hot or cold as a dessert.
