Extra Rich Pie Crust
|Flour||2 Cup (32 tbs)|
|Baking powder||1 Teaspoon|
|Soft butter||1⁄4 Pound|
|Egg||1 , separated|
|Sour cream||3 Tablespoon|
Sift first 4 ingredients together; cut in butter.
Add egg yolk and sour cream; blend well.
Divide into 2 parts; roll out on floured surface.
Press half the pastry into pie pan.
Add desired filling; cover with remaining pastry.
Brush top with egg white; sprinkle with milk and additional sugar.
Bake in 350-degree oven.
