Basic Crumb Case
|Butter||3 Ounce (6 Tablespoon, 75 Gram)|
|Digestive biscuits||8 Ounce, crushed (Plain Tea Or Sugar Cookies Or Graham Crackers, 225 Gram)|
|Brown sugar||1 1⁄2 Ounce (3 Tablespoon, 40 Gram)|
|Chopped nuts||1 Ounce (3 Tablespoon, 25 Gram)|
Melt the butter in a 23-cm / 9-in pie dish and cook for 40—45 seconds. Add the crumbs, sugar, and nuts and mix well. Press the mixture firmly against the base and sides of the dish, using a spoon.
Stand the dish on an inverted plate and cook for 30 seconds, rotate the dish and cook for a further 45 seconds. Cool before filling.
