Praline Apple Cream Pie

Ingredients
  Readymade pie crust 15 Ounce (1 Package)
For filling
  Flour 1 Teaspoon
  Cinnamon 1⁄4 Teaspoon
  Apple 1 Large, peeled, thinly sliced to make 1 1/2 cups
For topping
  Sugar 1⁄2 Cup (8 tbs)
  Firmly packed brown sugar 1⁄2 Cup (8 tbs)
  Cornstarch 1⁄4 Cup (4 tbs)
  Salt 1⁄4 Teaspoon
  Half and half 2 Cup (32 tbs)
  Margarine/Butter 3 Tablespoon
  Vanilla 1 Teaspoon
  Pecan halves 10
  Nutmeg To Taste
Directions

Heat oven to 450°F.
Prepare pie crust according to package directions for unfilled one-crust pie using 9-inch pie pan.
(Refrigerate remaining pie crust for later use.) Bake at 450°F for 6 to 8 minutes or until very light golden brown.
Remove from oven.
Cool completely.
Reduce heat to 350°F.
In 2-quart microwave-safe bowl, combine 2 teaspoons sugar, 1 teaspoon flour and cinnamon; blend well.
Add apple slices; toss lightly to coat.
Microwave on HIGH for 3 to 5 minutes or until apples are tender, stirring once halfway through cooking.
Spoon mixture evenly into cooled crust.
In medium saucepan, combine 1/2 cup sugar, brown sugar, cornstarch and salt; blend well.
Gradually stir in half-and-half.
Add margarine.
Cook over medium heat until mixture begins to thicken, about 10 minutes, stirring constantly.
Stir in vanilla.
Carefully pour topping over apple filling.
Arrange pecan halves over topping.
Sprinkle with nutmeg.
Bake at 350°F. for 35 to 40 minutes or until filling has puffed areas and crust is golden brown.
Cool completely.
Store in refrigerator.
