Strawberry Glazed Cheese Pie
|Graham cracker crust||1|
|Water||1⁄2 Cup (8 tbs)|
|Instant nonfat dry milk||1⁄2 Cup (8 tbs)|
|Sugar||1⁄2 Cup (8 tbs)|
|Lemon juice||1 Tablespoon|
|All purpose flour||1⁄4 Cup (4 tbs)|
|Low fat cottage cheese||1 Pound (1 Carton)|
1. Prepare a 9-inch pie plate, using Graham-Cracker Crust.
2. Combine water, dry milk, sugar, eggs, salt, lemon juice, vanilla, flour and cottage cheese in container of electric blender; cover and whirl until smooth. (Or you may sieve cheese into a bowl, add remaining ingredients, then beat with a rotary beater until smooth.) Pour into prepared crust.
3. Bake in slow oven (325°) for 1 hour. Turn oven off and leave pie in oven for 1 hour longer, then remove from oven; cool.
4. Top cooled pie with Jeweled Fruit Glaze. Chill until glaze is set.
