Quick Key Lime Pie
|9 inch baked pastry shell||1|
|Eggs||3 , separated|
|Canned milk||14 Ounce (1 Can, Not Evaporated Milk)|
|Lime juice from concentrate||1⁄2 Cup (8 tbs)|
|Cream of tartar||1⁄2 Teaspoon|
|Sugar||1⁄3 Cup (5.33 tbs)|
Preheat oven to 350°.
In medium bowl, beat egg yolks; stir in sweetened condensed milk, ReaLime and food coloring if desired.
Pour into prepared pastry shell.
In small mixer bowl, beat egg whites with cream of tartar until soft peaks form; gradually add sugar, beating until stiff but not dry.
Spread on top of pie, sealing carefully to edge of shell.
Bake 12 to 15 minutes or until golden brown.
Chill 3 hours or until set.
