Easy Pumpkin Pie
|Solid pack pumpkin||16 Ounce (1 Can)|
|Sugar/1/2 cup sugar + 3 packets sweet 'n low||3⁄4 Cup (12 tbs)|
|Ground cinnamon||1 Teaspoon|
|Ground ginger||1⁄2 Teaspoon|
|Ground cloves||1⁄2 Teaspoon|
|Light evaporated skimmed milk||12 Ounce (1 Can, Pet Brand)|
|Prepared dream whip||1 1⁄4 Ounce (1 Can)|
|For graham cracker crust|
|Fat free graham crackers||1 1⁄2 Cup (24 tbs), crushed (1 Box, Snack Well's Brand)|
|Sugar/1 tablespoon sugar + 1 1/2 packets sweet 'n low||2 Tablespoon|
|Liquid butter buds||1 1⁄2 Tablespoon|
|For pastry crust:|
|All purpose flour||1 Cup (16 tbs)|
|Lite salt||3⁄4 Teaspoon|
|Fat free margarine||1⁄4 Cup (4 tbs) (Promise Ultra Brand)|
|Cold water||3 Tablespoon|
Preheat oven to 425°F.
Mix filling in order given.
Mix together crust ingredients and press into pie pan, sprayed with non-fat cooking spray.
Pour filling into crust and bake 10 minutes.
Reduce heat to 350° F.
and bake 40-45 more minutes (or until knife inserted near center comes out clean).
Garnish with Dream Whip.
If using pastry crust, prepare dough as you would for a regular pie crust.
After blending ingredients, form dough into a ball and roll out on a floured surface.
Place circle of dough in pie pan.
To prevent the edge crust on the top of the pie from getting too brown, place foil over the crust while it bakes until the last 10 minutes.
