Beef Jamale Pie
|Cooked lean beef||1⁄2 Pound, cut into 1/2 inch pieces|
|Chili beans in chili sauce||15 3⁄4 Can (157.5 oz) (1 Can, Mild Variety)|
|Canned chopped green chilies||4 Ounce (1 Can)|
|Sliced scallions||1⁄4 Cup (4 tbs)|
|Ground cumin||1⁄4 Teaspoon|
|Corn muffin mix||8 1⁄2 Ounce (1 Package)|
|Cold water||1 Cup (16 tbs)|
|Shredded low fat cheddar cheese||1⁄2 Cup (8 tbs) (As Topping)|
Preheat oven to 425°F.
In medium bowl, combine filling ingredients and mix well.
In medium bowl, combine corn-meal base ingredients and mix well.
Mixture will be very thin.
Spray 9-inch square pan with nonstick cooking spray.
Pour in batter.
Spray beef mixture into center of batter, leaving 1-inch border.
