Ingredients
  Sliced apples 3 Cup (48 tbs)
  Firmly packed brown sugar 1⁄3 Cup (5.33 tbs)
  Ground cinnamon 1⁄4 Teaspoon
  Ground nutmeg 1⁄4 Teaspoon
  Butter/Margarine 1⁄4 Cup (4 tbs)
  Granulated sugar 1⁄3 Cup (5.33 tbs)
  Egg 1
  Sifted all purpose flour 3⁄4 Cup (12 tbs)
  Baking powder 3⁄4 Teaspoon
  Salt 1⁄4 Teaspoon
  Milk 1⁄3 Cup (5.33 tbs)
  Cream 1 Tablespoon
Directions

Put apples in 1-quart baking dish.
Sprinkle with brown sugar and spices.
Bake in a preheated moderate oven (375°F.) for 30 minutes, or until apples are soft.
Cream butter; gradually add granulated sugar and beat until fluffy.
Add egg and beat well.
Add sifted dry ingredients alternately with milk, beating until smooth.
Spread on cooked apples.
Bake for 30 minutes.
