Ruby Red Strawberry Pie

Ingredients
  Sugar 3⁄4 Cup (12 tbs)
  Cornstarch 3 Tablespoon
  Water 1⁄2 Cup (8 tbs)
  Frozen sliced strawberries 10 Ounce, thawed (1 package)
  Fresh strawberries 1 Quart, washed and hulled
  9 inch baked pastry shell 1
  Whipped cream 1 Cup (16 tbs)
Directions

1. Combine sugar, cornstarch and water in large glass mixing bowl until smooth; stir in strawberries and juice.
2. Microwave for 2 minutes on HIGH. Stir and continue cooking for 2 to 5 minutes on HIGH, or until thickened (about 190° F). Cool. Fold whole strawberries into glaze mixture. Pour into baked pastry shell. Chill. Serve with whipped cream.
