Peaches And Cream Pie

Ingredients
Pastry lined 9" pie pan 5 or 6 ripe peaches
1 cup light cream or half and half
1 teaspoon almond extract
1/2 cup sugar
2 eggs
2 tablespoons butter
Directions

Preheat oven to 350°.
Arrange peeled, halved, and pitted peaches, cut side up, in a pastry lined pie shell.
Blend together cream, almond extract, 1/4 cup sugar, and eggs. Pour over and around peaches. Dot peaches with small pieces of butter.
Sprinkle with remaining 1/4 cup sugar.
Bake at 350° for 1 hour or until crust is golden and filling is set.
Serve warm or at room temperature.
