Vanilla Cream Pie

Ingredients
  Sugar 3⁄4 Cup (12 tbs)
  All purpose flour/3 tablespoons cornstarch 1⁄2 Cup (8 tbs)
  Milk 2 Cup (32 tbs)
  Beaten egg yolks 3
  Butter 2 Tablespoon
  Vanilla 1 Teaspoon
  9 inch baked pastry shell 1 , cooled
  Whipped cream 2 Ounce
Directions

Mix sugar, flour or cornstarch, and 1/4 teaspoon salt; stir in milk.
Cook and stir till thickened and bubbly.
Cook and stir 2 minutes more.
Remove from heat.
Stir moderate amount of hot mixture into yolks; immediately return to hot mixture.
Cook and stir 2 minutes.
Stir in butter and vanilla.
Pour into pastry shell.
Chill.
