Crunch N Cream Pie
|Soft butter/Margarine||3 1⁄2 Cup (56 tbs)|
|Brown sugar||1 Cup (16 tbs), firmly packed|
|Corn flakes||3 Cup (48 tbs)|
|Chopped nuts||1 Cup (16 tbs)|
|Flaked coconut||1 Cup (16 tbs)|
|Vanilla ice cream||1 Quart, softened|
1. Beat butter and sugar until fluffy; mix in Corn Flakes, nuts and coconut.
2. Press 2/3 of the Corn Flakes mixture lightly in bottom and around sides of 9-inch pie pan. Fill evenly with ice cream; sprinkle with remaining Corn Flakes mixture, pressing lightly into ice cream.
3. Freeze for several hours or overnight. Serve with blueberries or other fresh fruit if desired.
