|Corn flakes/3/4 cup corn flake crumbs||3 Cup (48 tbs)|
|Soft butter/Margarine||1⁄4 Cup (4 tbs)|
|Canned pineapple chunks||20 Ounce (1 Can)|
|Lemon gelatin||3 Ounce (1 Package)|
|Cream cheese||8 Ounce, softened (1 Package)|
1. If using Corn Flakes, crush into fine crumbs. Combine Corn Flake Crumbs, sugar and butter in bottom of 8-inch pie pan; mix well. With tablespoon press evenly and firmly around sides and bottom of pan. Chill.
2. Drain pineapple chunks, reserving syrup; chill pineapple. Add water to syrup to make one cup; bring to a boil. Add gelatin and stir until completely dissolved.
3. Gradually blend half of hot gelatin mixture into cream cheese. Beat until smooth; pour into chilled crust. Chill until set.
4. Arrange pineapple on top; spoon remainder of gelatin over all. Chill.
