Oat Crumb Pie Crust
|Graham cracker crumbs||1 Cup (16 tbs)|
|Quick-cooking oatmeal||1⁄3 Cup (5.33 tbs)|
|Freshly grated orange peel||1 Teaspoon|
|Freshly grated lemon peel||1⁄2 Teaspoon|
|Margarine||2 1⁄2 Tablespoon, melted (Acceptable)|
Preheat oven to 375° F.
In a bowl, combine graham cracker crumbs, oatmeal, sugar and cinnamon.
Stir to blend well.
Add fresh fruit peels.
Stir until thoroughly blended.
Add melted margarine and toss to mix well.
Press into pie plate with back of metal fork to form shell.
Bake 8 to 10 minutes.
Cool before filling.
