Pork Pot Pie
|Pork broth/Chicken broth||3 Cup (48 tbs)|
|Chicken broth||2 1⁄2 Cup (40 tbs)|
|Potatoes||2 Medium, peeled and thinly sliced|
|Chopped celery||1 Cup (16 tbs)|
|Carrot||1 Large, sliced|
|Cubed cooked pork||2 Cup (32 tbs)|
|Noodle squares||1 Cup (16 tbs)|
Mix the 3 cups pork or chicken broth and enough additional chicken broth to make 5 cups liquid.
Mix broth, potatoes, celery, and carrot.
Simmer, covered, 10 minutes.
Season with salt and pepper.
Bring to boiling; stir Noodle Squares into broth.
Cook till noodles are tender, 10 to 12 minutes.
Noodle Squares: In a mixing bowl combine 1 beaten egg; 3 tablespoons water; 1 tablespoon butter,melted; and 1/4 teaspoon salt.
Gradually stir in 1 1/4 cups all-purpose flour to make a stiff dough.
Form into a ball; knead till smooth and elastic.
Roll dough on a floured surface to a 12x9-inch rectangle.
Cut dough into 1 1/2-inch squares.
