Homemade Shepherd's Pie

Ingredients
  Frozen whole kernel corn/Peas / mixed vegetables 10 Ounce (1 Package)
  Ground beef/Ground pork / ground lamb 1 Pound
  Onion 1 Medium, chopped
  Water 1⁄4 Cup (4 tbs)
  Canned condensed tomato soup/Cheddar cheese soup 11 Ounce (1 Can)
  Worcestershire sauce 1 Teaspoon
  Dried thyme 1⁄4 Teaspoon, crushed
  Pepper 1⁄4 Teaspoon
  Instant mashed potatoes 7 Ounce (Enough For 4 Servings)
  Paprika To Taste
Directions

Place vegetables in a colander; run cold water over vegetables to separate.
Set aside.
In a large skillet cook meat and onion until meat is brown, stirring to break up pieces.
Drain off fat.
Stir vegetables and water into meat mixture.
Cover and cook about 5 minutes or until vegetables are just tender.
Stir in soup, Worcestershire sauce, thyme, and pepper.
Transfer to a 1 1/2-quart casserole.
Prepare mashed potatoes according to package directions.
Drop in mounds on top of the hot meat mixture.
If desired, sprinkle with paprika.
