|Applejack||1⁄4 Cup (4 tbs) (Apple Brandy)|
|Tart apples||6 , peeled, cored and sliced|
Line 9-inch pie plate with pastry.
Combine brown sugar, granulated sugar, cornstarch, nutmeg, and salt.
Stir in applejack and apples.
Turn into pastry- lined pie plate.
Dot with butter.
Adjust top crust and cut slits for escape of steam; seal.
Bake at 400° till golden, 45 to 50 minutes.
