Gooey Fudge Pie A La Mode
|9 inch unbaked pastry shell||1|
|Sugar||1 Cup (16 tbs)|
|All purpose flour||1⁄2 Cup (8 tbs)|
|Margarine||1⁄2 Cup (8 tbs), melted|
|Unsweetened cocoa||1⁄3 Cup (5.33 tbs)|
|Firmly packed brown sugar||1⁄4 Cup (4 tbs)|
|Whole milk||1⁄4 Cup (4 tbs)|
|Vanilla extract||1 Teaspoon|
|Candy bars||2 4⁄5 Ounce, english toffee flavored, chopped (Two 1.4 Ounce Pieces)|
|Vanilla ice cream||4 Cup (64 tbs)|
|Chocolate syrup||1⁄2 Cup (8 tbs)|
Bake pastry shell at 350° for 5 minutes.
Combine sugar and next 8 ingredients in a large bowl.
Beat at medium speed of an electric mixer 5 minutes or until smooth.
Stir in chopped candy.
Pour filling into prepared pastry shell.
Bake at 350° for 35 minutes or until filling is set and pastry is golden.
Let cool completely on a wire rack.
