Cottage Apple Pie

Ingredients
  Eggs 2
  Salt 1⁄4 Teaspoon
  Sugar 3⁄4 Cup (12 tbs), divided
  Light cream 1⁄2 Cup (8 tbs)
  Milk 3⁄4 Cup (12 tbs)
  Vanilla 1 Teaspoon
  Cottage cheese 1 Cup (16 tbs)
  Apples 1 Cup (16 tbs), sliced
  Cinnamon 1⁄4 Teaspoon
  Nutmeg 1⁄4 Teaspoon
  10-inch unbaked pastry shell 1
Directions

Combine eggs, 1/2 cup sugar, salt, cream, milk, vanilla, and cottage cheese.
Set aside.
Combine apples, 1/4 cup sugar and spices in pie shell.
Bake at 425 degrees, 15 minutes.
Reduce heat to 325 and add custard mixture.
Bake 40 minutes longer.
