Strawberry Mallow Cream Pie

Ingredients
  8 inch baked pie shell 1
  Marshmallows 1⁄2 Pound (Large Size)
  Heavy cream 1⁄2 Cup (8 tbs)
  Hulled strawberries 1 Quart, washed
  Heavy cream 1⁄2 Cup (8 tbs), whipped
Directions

Early in day: In double boiler, melt marshmallows with 1/2 cup cream.
Meanwhile, into baked pie shell, slice or halve strawberries, reserving a few whole ones to decorate top.
When marshmallows are melted, set double-boiler top in pan of ice water; with spoon, beat mixture until cold; pour over berries in pie shell.
Refrigerate.
