Old Fashioned Classic Apple Pie

Ingredients
  Pastry crust 1 (2-crust 9" pie)
  Apples 6 Cup (96 tbs), sliced (peeled)
  Sugar 3⁄4 Cup (12 tbs)
  Cinnamon 1⁄4 Teaspoon, ground
  Butter 2 Tablespoon
Directions

Combine apples, sugar and cinnamon; mix well.
Turn into pastry-lined pie pan.
Dot with butter.
Cover with top crust; cut vents.
Flute edges.
Bake in 400° oven 45-50 minutes or until crust is golden brown and apples are tender.
