Old Fashioned Classic Apple Pie

|Pastry crust||1 (2-crust 9" pie)|
|Apples||6 Cup (96 tbs), sliced (peeled)|
|Sugar||3⁄4 Cup (12 tbs)|
|Cinnamon||1⁄4 Teaspoon, ground|
Combine apples, sugar and cinnamon; mix well.
Turn into pastry-lined pie pan.
Dot with butter.
Cover with top crust; cut vents.
Bake in 400° oven 45-50 minutes or until crust is golden brown and apples are tender.
