Chocolate Banana Cream Pie
|Sugar||1⁄4 Cup (4 tbs)|
|Cornstarch||1⁄4 Cup (4 tbs)|
|Baking cocoa||2 Tablespoon|
|Cold skim milk||2 Cup (32 tbs)|
|Bananas||2 , sliced|
|Ready crust chocolate flavored pie crust||1|
In a saucepan, combine sugar, cornstarch and cocoa.
Whisk in cold milk.
Cook over medium heat, stirring constantly until the mixture comes to a boil.
Boil and stir 3 minutes.
Remove from heat, stir in vanilla.
Remove to a bowl, cover surface with plastic wrap.
Refrigerate until cool, about 1 hour.
Slice bananas into crust.
Spoon cooled chocolate mixture over bananas.
Cover with plastic wrap; press onto surface.
Refrigerate at least 2 hours.
Garnish with whipped topping and banana slices, if desired.
