Candy Apple Cheese Pie
|Cream cheese||8 Ounce, softened (1 Package)|
|Sweetened condensed milk||14 Ounce, cut into pieces (Not Evaporated Milk, 1 Can)|
|Lemon juice from concentrate||1⁄3 Cup (5.33 tbs)|
|Vanilla extract||1 Teaspoon|
|Baked 9-inch pastry shell||1|
|Canned sliced apples||20 Ounce, well drained on paper towels|
|Red cinnamon candies||1⁄4 Cup (4 tbs)|
Cream and beat the cheese till light and fluffy.
Gradually beat in sweetened condensed milk until smooth.
Stir in ReaLemon® and vanilla.
Pour into prepared pastry shell.
Arrange apple slices on top; set aside.
In small saucepan, over low heat, dissolve cinnamon can dies in 1/4 cup water.
Stir together remaining 2 tablespoons water and cornstarch; add to cinnamon mixture.
Cook and stir until mixture thickens and boils.
Rmove from heat; cool slightly.
Drizzle over apples.
Chill 3 hours, or until set.
