Ground Cherry Pie
|9 inch rolled pie crust||1 , prepared in advance but not baked (Basic)|
|Husked ground cherries||2 1⁄2 Cup (40 tbs)|
|Honey||1⁄3 Cup (5.33 tbs), warmed|
|Whole wheat pastry flour||1 Tablespoon|
|Milk||1 Cup (16 tbs)|
Preheat oven to 42.5° F Put ground-cherries into unbaked pie shell.
Beat eggs, add salt, honey, flour, milk, and vanilla.
Pour over cherries and bake in preheated oven for 10 minutes, then reduce heat to 350° F. and bake for about 30 minutes longer, until a knife inserted in center comes out clean.
