Golden Pineapple Pie

Ingredients
  Chopped pineapple/Canned crushed unsweetened pineapple 2 Cup (32 tbs)
  Crystallized honey 1 Cup (16 tbs)
  Arrowroot 5 Tablespoon
  Water 2 Tablespoon
  Butter 1 Tablespoon
  Cottage cheese 1 Cup (16 tbs)
  Pure vanilla extract 1 Teaspoon
  Salt 1⁄4 Teaspoon
  Eggs 2 , beaten
  Milk 1 1⁄4 Cup (20 tbs)
  Unbaked 10 inch pie crust 1
Directions

1. In a small saucepan, combine the pineapple, 1/2 cup honey, 2 tablespoons arrowroot, and the water. Bring to a boil, stirring, and cook for 1 minute. Cool.
2. Preheat the oven to 450 degrees.
3. Beat together the butter, cottage cheese, vanilla, salt, eggs, milk, remaining honey, and remaining arrowroot until smooth.
4. Pour the cooled pineapple mixture into the pie shell. Pour cottage cheese mixture over the pineapple mixture and bake for 15 minutes. Lower the oven temperature to 325 degrees and bake for 45 minutes longer, or until set. Cool and chill.
