Beefy Onion Pie

Ingredients
  Plain pastry 2
  Thinly sliced onion 1 1⁄2 Cup (24 tbs)
  Chopped green pepper 1⁄4 Cup (4 tbs)
  Butter/Margarine 1⁄4 Cup (4 tbs)
  Chopped cooked beef 2 Cup (32 tbs)
  Dairy sour cream 1 Cup (16 tbs)
  All purpose flour 2 Tablespoon
  Salt 1⁄8 Teaspoon
  Pepper 1⁄8 Teaspoon
  Beaten egg 1
  Snipped parsley 2 Tablespoon
  Chopped pimiento 2 Tablespoon
Directions

Prepare Plain Pastry for a double-crust pie.
Set aside.
In skillet cook onion and green pepper in butter till tender.
Stir in beef; remove from heat.
Combine sour cream, flour, salt, and pepper; blend in egg, parsley, and pimiento.
Stir into onion-beef mixture; mix well.
Turn beef mixture into pastry-lined 9-inch pie plate.
Adjust top crust.
Seal and flute edges; cut slits for escape of steam.
Bake, uncovered, at 375° till crust is golden, about 40 minutes.
