I Pared The Pear Pie

Ingredients
  Bartlett pears 5
  Pastry 1 (Lined 9 Or 10 Inch Pie Tin)
  Sugar 1 Cup (16 tbs) (For 9 Inch, 1 1/2 Cup For 10 Inch)
  Flour 1⁄4 Cup (4 tbs) (For 9 Inch, 3/8 Cup For 10 Inch)
  Eggs 2
  Vanilla 1 Teaspoon
  Melted butter/Margarine 1⁄4 Cup (4 tbs)
Directions

Pare and cut pears lengthwise into halves.
Remove core.
Arrange cut side down in pie shell.
Beat sugar, flour, butter, eggs, and vanilla until smooth.
Pour over pears.
Bake in preheated 325° oven for 40-45 minutes.
