I Pared The Pear Pie

|Pastry||1 (Lined 9 Or 10 Inch Pie Tin)|
|Sugar||1 Cup (16 tbs) (For 9 Inch, 1 1/2 Cup For 10 Inch)|
|Flour||1⁄4 Cup (4 tbs) (For 9 Inch, 3/8 Cup For 10 Inch)|
|Melted butter/Margarine||1⁄4 Cup (4 tbs)|
Pare and cut pears lengthwise into halves.
Arrange cut side down in pie shell.
Beat sugar, flour, butter, eggs, and vanilla until smooth.
Pour over pears.
Bake in preheated 325° oven for 40-45 minutes.
