Date Cream Pie
|Unbaked pie shell||1 (8 Inch)|
|Granulated fructose||1⁄4 Cup (4 tbs)|
|Evaporated skim milk||1 Cup (16 tbs)|
|Lemon juice||2 Tablespoon|
|Dates||3⁄4 Cup (12 tbs), chopped|
Combine egg, fructose, salt, evaporated milk, lemon juice, and dates in a bowl.
Stir to completely mix.
Pour into unbaked pie shell.
Bake at 425°F (220°C) for 10 minutes; then reduce heat to 300°F (150°C) and bake 15 to 20 minutes longer or until filling becomes firm.
