Creamy Custard Pie
|Skim milk||2 Cup (32 tbs)|
|Flour||1⁄4 Cup (4 tbs)|
|Cocoa||1⁄4 Cup (4 tbs)|
|Granulated sugar||3 Teaspoon|
|Vanilla extract||1 Teaspoon|
|8 inch basic pie shell||1 , baked|
Scald 1 cup (250 mL) of the milk.
Mix dry ingredients with remaining milk.
Add to hot milk and cook until custard coats the spoon, about 15 minutes.
Add butter and vanilla.
Stir to blend.
Remove from heat.
When partially cooled, pour into baked pie shell.
Chill thoroughly before serving.
