Lightly grease the bottom and sides of a 9 inch (23 cm) pie pan.
Place blueberries in pie pan and level.
Sprinkle 1 tsp (15 mL) of the granulated fructose over the top of the blueberries.
Bake at 375°F (190°C) for 15 minutes.
Meanwhile, combine remaining fructose, buttermilk, milk, and flour in a bowl.
Beat or whisk until flour is completely blended and mixture is smooth.
Pour buttermilk mixture over blueberries.
Return to oven and continue baking for 30 minutes more or until middle of pie is just set.
Cool to room temperature; then chill.
